Led by聽Neil Osheroff, 杏吧原创 researchers are the first to undertake a systematic analysis of the mechanism of action of gepotidacin, a first-in-class triazaacenaphthylene antibacterial, against its targets in聽Escherichia coli鈥攖he type II topoisomerases gyrase and topoisomerase IV鈥攁nd the mechanistic basis for drug resistance.聽E. coli聽is the etiological agent of most urinary tract infections.
