Vehicle, pedestrian route changes start Monday, Oct. 6, near Central Neighborhood

A series of sidewalk and roadway closures will begin on Monday, Oct. 6, in ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Central Neighborhood. Whether you are walking, biking or driving, take time to chart a course that will make navigating campus a breeze. Ìý

Vehicle RoutesÌý

Oct. 6–13 Ìý

  • 24th Avenue between Garland Avenue and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place opens to two-way traffic.ÌýÌý
  • ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place from 25th Avenue South to lot 21 closes. Commuters should use 24th Avenue South to access ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place. Ìý
  • A portion of Stevenson Center Lane closes to vehicles.ÌýÌý
  • Lots 11 and 63 along 24th Avenue South closes to commuters. A new ADA parking lot is available along ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place near the Rand/Sarratt roundabout.ÌýÌý

Oct. 14–Summer 2026Ìý

  • ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place closes between lot 21 and 24th Avenue South.Ìý
  • ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place opens at 25th Avenue South to provide access to lot 21.ÌýÌý
  • 24th Avenue South opens to two-way traffic. Ìý
  • A portion of Stevenson Center Lane remains closed to vehicles.Ìý

  • A new pedestrian walkway opens near Stevenson Center 6 construction site.Ìý

Oct. 14–Summer 2025Ìý

  • ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place closes between 25th Avenue South and 24th Avenue South.Ìý
  • Sidewalks along ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place between 25th Avenue South and 24th Avenue South close to pedestrians. Ìý
  • Greek residents should use designated pathways along ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place or in West End Neighborhood to access their houses.ÌýÌý
  • Pedestrians should use the Green, Kensington Avenue or 24th Avenue South sidewalks to access main campus from Frist Athletics Village and Highland Neighborhood. Ìý
  • Greek residents with buildings along ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Place should use the Green to access the back entries of their buildings.ÌýÌý
  • Pedestrian pathways near Stevenson Center 6 construction site do not change. Ìý
