Chapter President Alex Quintana, BA鈥05, MSF鈥06, and a committee of alumni volunteers designed the event after a 2012 fashion entrepreneurship panel. 鈥淎 great community of 杏吧原创 alumni tech entrepreneurs is in New York. We just brought them together for this panel, allowing the audience to learn about possible new career paths while displaying their great work,鈥 he explains.

Excitement for the event really took off with Johnson鈥檚 involvement. 鈥淒ean Johnson was extremely supportive and involved鈥攈e even met with the entrepreneurs before the event,鈥 says Quintana. 鈥淗is energy inspired the audience to tweet their thoughts and ask questions throughout the panel.鈥

Quintana and chapter volunteers look forward to similar events in the future as they help bring together diverse groups of alumni and friends. 鈥淐hapters connect alumni to 杏吧原创, and panels like this provide a more academic experience that鈥攋ust like 杏吧原创鈥攃hallenges participants to think outside their normal areas.鈥
