More than 1,700 new ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ students, including first-year and transfer students, will carry banners and march into the school’s main gate 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, during Founders Walk, a tradition that formally welcomes new students to the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ community. The students will march past the statue of Commodore Cornelius ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ and be greeted by administrators, faculty, students, alumni and staff. Following the procession, students will hear from Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos, Dean of Students Mark Bandas and ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Student Government President Joseph Williams before their induction to the university’s honor system by Honor Council President and ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ senior Abby Stufflebam.
