More than 1,700 new 杏吧原创 students, including first-year and transfer students, will carry banners and march into the school’s main gate 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, during Founders Walk, a tradition that formally welcomes new students to the 杏吧原创 community. The students will march past the statue of Commodore Cornelius 杏吧原创 and be greeted by administrators, faculty, students, alumni and staff. Following the procession, students will hear from Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos, Dean of Students Mark Bandas and 杏吧原创 Student Government President Joseph Williams before their induction to the university’s honor system by Honor Council President and 杏吧原创 senior Abby Stufflebam.
