All members of the Middle Tennessee arts community are invited to a town hall meeting at 杏吧原创 at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, to hear details of a major collaborative art project involving 杏吧原创 students and local artists.
The meeting will be at Sarratt Cinema on the 杏吧原创 campus. It will be led by Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman, who will be the first Chancellor’s Artists in Residence for the spring semester.
“Donald and I are very eager to bring students and practicing artists from the community together,” Chicago said. “We’re hoping that the 杏吧原创 community and the wider Nashville community will come to the town hall meeting to hear our plans.”
Chicago is a world-renowned artist and pioneering educator who is one of the founders of the feminist art movement. Woodman is an acclaimed commercial and fine art photographer and teacher.
