NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With more than 20 programs and camps taking place across the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ campus this summer, Nashville parents may have a hard time deciding which programs best suit their child’s interests, schedule and needs. The University has made things easy by consolidating details of each of its summer programs on a single website.
Summer Programs at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ () is an online directory of University-wide camps, programs and activities for children in grades K-12. Each listing gives a brief description of the program, information on registration and costs, and provides website links and contact information for further details.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´’s summer programs are open to the community. Among this summer’s offerings are sports camps for both boys and girls, including Kevin Stalling’s ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Basketball Camp; a day camp with a sports emphasis; the Girls and Science Summer Camp (GAS) for seventh and eighth graders; the Preparatory Academics for ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Engineers program (PAVE); the Space Exploration Summer Camp sponsored by ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´’s Dyer Observatory; the Blair School of Music’s nationally acclaimed Kindermusik Camp; The TRIAD Summer Camp for Children with Autism; and the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Swim School, now in its 37th year. Application deadlines for some of the programs apply.
The Summer Programs at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ online directory was compiled by ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´’s Office of Community, Neighborhood and Government Relations. For additional information, send an e-mail to vandy_outreach@vanderbilt.edu.
